georgetown cupcake

Georgetown Cupcake has been open for a few months now at its newest location on Newbury Street. The sister-run cupcake company was featured on TLC's DC's Cupcakes, so you may have seen their tasty treats around. Usually there is a line out the door at their Boston location, but this past weekend we rolled in right before closing and snuck in a cupcake before calling it a night. I went with the vanilla cupcake with chocolate ganache...no pictures because I ate it too fast...oops! The cupcake was moist and the ganache made it almost seem like a fudge fancy (my cookie weakness), so it was perfect in my mind.
